I’m always interested in trying new things, and the latest thing that I am committing to exploring is the Daily Stoic’s New Year, New Challenge. I recently came across the Daily Stoic on a recommendation from my brother who is undergoing a beautiful transformation of mind, body, and soul. He’s opened himself up to many new ideas over the last nine months and the results have been inarguable – fit body, willingness to serve others, more money, and positive presence. Like me, he’s opened himself up and discovered new ideas and approaches for life by immersing himself in podcasts, yoga, and meditation. I’m proud of the changes he has made and inspired to recommit myself to making changes to align my thoughts and actions with my ever-expanding desires for my life. That’s where the Daily Stoic comes in.
In this daily blog series, I will share my experience across the next 21 days. My main motivation for experimenting with Stoicism is to support my desire to act with more courage and conviction in 2020.
Beyond the work I am committing to with Daily Stoic, I am also committing myself to Whole30 (3 days in and feeling good) and to expanding my knowledge of objectivism through the great content provided by the Ayn Rand Institute. Day by day, I plan to receive the best that 2020 has to offer me.
