Day 13: Set Up Your Personal Board of Directors
I loved this challenge and believe that I have three or four of my five Board of Directors locked in. My next step is to reach out to each of them to set up a call or coffee to strengthen are existing connections.
I want to leave space for one or two more since my dreams and desires are expanding so quickly right now. I feel closer than ever to my purpose and I also feel like I have been taking inspired action lately. I know that I will need one or two more amazing mentors in my life soon who I don’t even know yet, but that will be called into my life to share their wisdom.
I know this because it has happened to me throughout my life. Once I get clear on a desire and articulate it, I am called into connections with people who help me make what I want a reality.
- When I wanted to get sober, this amazing woman and now friend, Hira, appeared in my life to guide me.
- When I wanted to shift roles in my career, Katherine was there lighting a path out to San Francisco where I am today.
- When I wanted to try my hand at a startup, Aaron was there to encourage me to stick with it and keep my eye on the bigger picture.
- When I wanted to get back in touch with my feminine essence, my beautifully exalted mentor, Cyndie, appeared in my life to help me channel my drive and unblock my goddess energy.
- When I admitted that I absolutely loved physical affection and craved deep emotional connection, my passionate fiance Renata, ran by me on a flag football field.
The list really does go on!
These bright stars showed up at key moments in my life, moments when I was honest with myself about what I wanted. And then – by virtue of being themselves and living authentically – they inspired me to exhale, be me, and pursue my dreams without fear.
